Methods of Payment to Join the Society or Renew your Membership

The primary methods of payment to the Society are PayPal, our Euro Bank Account and our Pound Sterling Bank Account, as described below.

For Payment Using PayPal

Details can be found by visiting our PayPal page. For many people, especially those without a Euro or Pound Sterling bank account, it is often the most convenient and lowest cost method of payment. You will be charged in your own currency and benefit from the exchange rate at the time of payment. One does NOT have to sign up for PayPal in order to use this payment method.

For Payment in Euros

Ordinary Membership for one year is 35.00 Euros. Nursery Membership for one year is 58.00 Euros.

For new members, if you pay 52 Euros for Ordinary Membership, instead of the complimentary issue of our choice of year, you can receive a copy of Clematis International of last year.

The Society has established a new Euro currency bank account, held by Taunus Sparkasse in Germany. If you want to pay your membership fee and, in the past, have done so by bank transfer to the Triodos Bank, then you must now use Taunus Sparkasse.

Details of the Taunus Sparkasse Bank Account have been sent out to Euro-zone members. If you require details of the new bank account and have not received them, please contact our secretary, Fiona Woolfenden.

The Triodos bank account is now closed.

For Payment in Pounds Sterling

Ordinary Membership for one year is 32.00 UK Pounds Sterling. Nursery Membership for one year is 53.00 UK Pounds Sterling.

For new members, if you pay £47.50 for Ordinary Membership, instead of the complimentary issue of our choice of year, you can receive a copy of Clematis International of last year.

The Society Pounds Sterling Account is in Great Britain. You may pay in Pounds Sterling either by online or telephone banking or by cheque or Money Order.

For security reasons the Society does not publish details of any bank account on this website. They are provided to all members with their Membership Status and Renewal slip. They can also be provided to any member on request. With these you can make a payment using online or telephone banking.
