Index of Clematis References in Previous Journals

I am pleased to announce the index of clematis cultivar references in previous journals has been updated and now covers journals from 2005 to 2014 inclusive. My thanks to Ton Hannink for analysing these previous journals and providing the base data for this index. We hope to add data from other years as time permits. Given the number of entries, there are bound to be some mistakes, hopefully not too many, but if you come across anything you believe is incorrect, I’d be grateful if you’d drop me an email so that I can correct it in the next issue.

I have provided the index as file, in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format. You can look at it and search it “online”, download to your computer and search it locally or print it, the choice is yours.

To view of download this index please use the link, International Clematis Society Index of Journal Clematis References. The index is approximately 218 Kbytes large and 48 pages.

Previous Journal Prices

Members of the International Clematis Society and other affiliated societies can buy any of the above journals (except the latest journal which is only available to I.Cl.S. members) by calculating the price from the table below and using the instructions under How to Join the Clematis Society for ways of making payment.

Unfortunately we have to continuously revise prices, especially for the older journals, in order to make sure they at least cover the average cost of postage which increases significantly year on year.

Complete Set of Available Past Journals We are pleased to offer a complete set of available journals. However due to the weight of this package and current standard postage rates, we will usually use an international parcel service where they are cheaper. Please email the Society if you are interested (we are also happy to offer partial sets) and we will calculate the weight and get a quote for your to consider. We have to cover the cost of the parcel service but charge a nominal fee for the journals themselves when ordered “in bulk”.

Please note: if you join the International Clematis Society we will send you a complimentary copy of a Journal, issue dependent on availability and at the discretion of the Society. Details of how to join are available on the Web page How to Join.

Journals are only available to Members of either The International Clematis Society or Affiliated Societies.
